Coats for Kids Wins Ubuntu Award

Anton’s Cleaners COO and Coats for Kids founder Arthur Anton Jr. was honored to receive the 2012 Ubuntu Award from the Boston Center for Refugee Health and Human Rights at Boston Medical Center on June 26th, 2012. Ubuntu speaks to selflessness and sacrifice for the good of others. BCRHHR, a Coats for Kids’ distribution partner, recognized the program for its tremendous annual effort of providing tens of thousands of winter coats to families in need. Anton’s Cleaners receives 2012 Family Business Award for Community Excellence

Family Business Association Awards 2012 WinnerAnton’s Cleaners was presented with the 2012 Community Excellence Award by the Family Business Association, a non-profit organization created to honor family businesses and recognize excellence at the annual awards program. The award recognized Anton’s Cleaners for our ongoing community relations programs, Coats for Kids and Bell of the Ball. Anton’s believes in leveraging the resources of the company to assist those in need, which is why we have donated over $10,000,000 in clothing care services since Coats for Kids began in 1995 and Belle of the Ball began in 2005.
