When the 2005-2006 Coats for Kids<\/em> drive ended January 15, 2006 nearly 55,000 coats were collected. More than 240 schools along with thousands of individuals joined in the collection efforts. In its 11 year history, Coats for Kids<\/em> has donated, cleaned and distributed a total of 371,356 warm winter coats to New England residents.<\/p>\n Once again, our Promotional Partners FOX25 and the Boston Bruins along with all the Corporate Partners played a crucial role in the 2005-2006 coat drive.<\/p>\n All participating elementary and middle schools competed for school equipment and recognitions events.
