Where can I drop-off coats?
If you are a collecting SCHOOL:
All Anton’s Cleaners locations accept good-quality coat school donations. For the store nearest you click here.
When dropping off the coats, Anton’s clerk will give you a receipt that contains the number of coats dropped off. Be sure to tell the sales clerk what school you are from and the town.
Visit our website and click “Post Your School’s Donation”. Find your school in the drop-down, and input the required fields from the donation receipt (i.e. receipt number, number of coats).
Your points will automatically be calculated based on the number of coats donated. It may take up to a week for your leaderboard totals to update.
Coat donations must be entered into the website to receive credit no later than one week following the end of the coat drive.
If you are making an individual donation or are a corporate partner:
You can drop off your donations at any Anton’s Cleaners, Enterprise Bank, or Jordan’s Furniture, or location.
Do you only collect children's coats?
We collect coats for children and adults. Please bring your coats to any Anton’s Cleaners, Enterprise Bank, or Jordan’s Furniture location.
Anton’s will clean the coats free of charge and coordinate with approved distribution partners to get the coats to local communities in need throughout New England.
Do you accept adult coats?
Yes! Coats for Kids & Families is happy to accept coats of all sizes for children, adults, and even babies!
What are the most needed sizes?
Coats for Kids & Families is most in need of adult plus size coats (2XL+), infant, and toddler coats.
However, all coats collected are absorbed by the community each year! Any size you are willing to donate will get used by someone in need!
What types of coats do you accept?
We accept all winter coats for children, adults, and babies. Coats should be in good, wearable condition.
Please donate coats you would give a friend. Do not donate coats that have rips/tears, broken zippers, and/or permanent stains. Please be sure to empty out all pockets.
We do not accept sweatshrits, vests, snow pats, hats, mittens, or accessories at this time.
Who gets the donated coats?
Coats donated to Coats for Kids & Families go directly to the local communities collecting the coats.
We work with over 90 distribution partners comprised of social service agencies, schools, and religious groups in Southern New Hampshire and Massachusetts (anywhere we are collecting coats!).
Cleaned coats are provided to those organizations that will then distribute them throughout the local communities where they see the most need.
If your are a social service agency, school, nonprofit, or religious group in need of coats for the community you serve, you can apply to become a Distribution Partner.
How do I get a coat?
We work with over 90 distribution partners comprised of social service agencies, schools, and religious groups in Southern New Hampshire and Massachusetts (anywhere we are collecting coats!).
Once donated coats are cleaned, this network of partners distributes them throughout the local communities where they see the most need.
Please note: We keep this list confidential for privacy. If you are an individual in need of a coat, we will do our best to connect you with a registered distribution partner.

Once coats are collected, who pays for the cleaning?
Our corporate partner, Anton’s Cleaners, cleans all donated coats—free of charge.
I don't have a coat to donate, but want to help!
There are lots of ways to help! Please consider making a financial donation, starting a coat drive, or simply spreading the word about our program within your community!
How do I register my School or Organization as a Collection Partner?
Register to become a school or community collection, partner by clicking here.
You can hold your collection drive for the entirety of our collection dates (October 3, 2022 – January 8, 2023) or any length of time within the official Coats for Kids & Families collection dates that work for you and your community.
What are the School Reward Prizes?
Any registered public, parochial, or Independent school collection partner is eligible to participate in the School Rewards Program.
New for 2022: A total of 6 prizes will be awarded!
Total Coats: The top placing school in the Elementary School, Middle School, and High School Categories based on the total number of coats donated will be awarded $1,000 by Jordan’s Furniture to use for sports or after-school programs.
Coats Donated Per Student Enrolled: The top placing school in the Elementary School, Middle School, and High School Categories based on the total number of coats donated per student enrolled in the school (i.e. 100 coats/300 students) will be awarded $1,000 by Jordan’s Furniture to use towards sports or after school programs.
Any School that wins a prize for 3 consecutive years will have one year of ineligibility.
How do we ensure that our school gets proper credit for the number of coats collected?
When bringing coats from your school to your local Anton’s Store, the customer service representative will present you with a receipt containing your school name and the number of coats donated that day. (NOTE: You can make as many drops as necessary throughout the posted collection dates. We suggest making weekly drop-offs to help manage donations and get coats to those in need faster!)

My school totals are no updated on the leaderboard.
Totals typically update on the Coats for Kids & Families Leaderboard every week, however, can take up to two weeks.
If your school’s totals have not been updated two weeks following your donation, please contact info@caringpartnersinc.org with your school name, donation date, Anton’s location, receipt number, and total coat donation.
Please, do not make multiple entries for a single donation.
The leaderboards are for informational purposes only. Final results will be communicated to winning schools directly via email.
Do you provide collection flyers?
Find flyers and ready-to-use social media posts on the promotional materials section of our website! Download the standard flyer or edit your own based on the template provided.
At this time, we can send standard printed flyers to schools only.
If you wish to design and use your own promotional materials or signage, we ask that you have your artwork approved by sending them to info@caringpartnersinc.org before distirbution to the community.
All materials must include the CFK&F logo, as well as corporate partner logos: Anton’s Cleaners, Enterprise Bank, and Jordan’s Furniture.
When should collection partners drop off their donated coats?
As frequently as possible throughout the posted collection dates. Dropping the coats off on a weekly basis is ideal. When coats are donated regularly, it helps us get them cleaned and ready for those in need faster.
Do you offer Pick-Up of Coat Donations?
Anton’s Cleaners may be able to offer pick-ups in select Massachusetts towns for registered school & community collection partners. Please contact us at info@caringpartners.inc to inquire about a pickup.
We are unable to offer pick up for individual donations at thie time. Donations can be made at any Anton’s Cleaners, Enterprise Bank, or Jordan’s Furniture location between 10/3/22-1/8/22 during normal business hours.
